Justin Garbedian, BSc, DDS, MSc, FRCD(C)

Meet Dr. Garbedian

Dr. Garbedian completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Toronto.  During his time there, he received multiple academic awards and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Honour Society, a distinction awarded to the top students of his graduating class.  Following graduation, Dr. Garbedian pursued a hospital dental residency at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto which then lead to hospital based residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Toronto.  During his residency, Dr. Garbedian completed a Master of Science in anatomy, which studied the relationship of the lingual nerve to the 3rd molar region.  He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and maintains a specialty license with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.

In addition to providing patient care at Lakeridge Oral Surgery, Dr. Garbedian is a staff surgeon at The Hospital for Sick Children and Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto.  At these institutions he is involved in the education and training of residents in the postgraduate Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery program at the University of Toronto.

Outside of work, Dr. Garbedian enjoys traveling, skiing and spending time with his wife and twin boys.
